Back To Basics Night 1
Entnces Joeliz y yo estabamos dando vueltas el otro dia despues de la graduacion de Crema y nos pusimos nostalgicos hablando de los sitios dnd comiamos antes, teniamos hambre y lo unico que terminamos comiendo fue RicoHot Dog.
hablamos de la cotorra, el punto de la pierna, marcial [el de la paseo de locutores], machupichu, piccolo y el primer picalo, among many others...
de ahi salio la idea de joeliz de "Back to Basics Night"
asi que ayer hicimos el primer Back to Basics - Piccolo Club
Piccolo esta igualito, literalmente
tiene las mismas neveritas de los refrescos
el mismo exmen de la vista pgado en la pared
el mismo letrero de neon, con la misma letra quemada
el mismo menu, sin prcios y ahora le faltan algunas letras
el mismo numero telefono, sin el 809 alante
el mismito sabor de carne barata, con mucho repollo y cachu dulzon
el mismo pote de picantico
los mismo palitos cerveceros
Y LOS MISMOS DOS PANAS SIRVIENDO Y COBRANDO!
hahaha wow o sea joel y yo nos quedamos con la boca abierta, same 2 guys ! they were promoted from grill to cashier i guess or maybe they own the place now
lo q si nos dimos cuenta es el MEGA location, o sea . . . Churchill, un local, no un carrito, al lado de El Catador, enfrente a Acropolis, atras del BAcno de Progreso, ese solarsito vale dinero!

Twitter-ific
Vamos a darle gracias a Dios que no tengo ni un iPhone, ni un Blackberry... pq si lo tuviera fuera un show con twitter . . .
Es mas facil escribir cualquier random thought que me venga a la cabeza que disque ir anotandolos y despues subirlos todos aqui. :)

todavia toy medio aprendiendo a ver si hay mas opciones
no se como subir foticas si me da la gana[ya monchy taught me ;) ]

I joined Twitter
It's not that I've given up blogging.
It's more that I tend to think I don't have enough material for a whole post.
Me vienen random thoughts a la cabeza de vez en cuando y yo como que digo, mierquina eso es muy chiquito para escribir un post.
No voy a cerrar aqui, I doubt I will ever do that.
I think I will keep this out for big ideas, they tend to pop up de vez en cuando.
En cambio, para mis random thoughts, mis 1-liners, . . . Twitter sera mi desahogue.
140 letras o menos . . . me gusta tener ese limite.

Fridays in my class...
Mondays and Fridays are the worst days to teach.
As a student I remember being sleepy all of Monday and anxious all of Friday.
It hasn't changed since my role has shifted . . .
. . . Mondays are difficult to teach because you need to motivate and wake them up & Fridays require a lot of mental stability to withstand their whining and constant glances at the watch . . .
What do i do ?
I drink coffee.
I smile.
I walked around a lot.
I never stop talking.
This is an example of what I would say in less than 20 seconds . . .
"I'm more like hey hey hey why isn't your book out [as they are walking into the class] come on come on we're late, today is a good day to read, we're reading until you beg for water, let's go let's go ... guideline questions are on the board, already sent them to your emails too ... can't make up any excuses ... why aren't your books out yet? I'm missing people ? Who's not here? Why isn't your shirt in? Tuck in your shirt with one arm and turn the pages with the other ..."
I have done this before ... don't think me crazy, I enjoy it, some of them laugh, and I know, as always, some probably hate me when I get that way... but, at least, it gets them to WORK. :)

A Dream Come True
It was at some moment in 1991 that I walked into my two older cousins' bedroom.
The left walls were draped in several colors and posters with weird shapes. Tito was an awesome drawer, he later became a publicist, and he had drawn what seemed to be a transparent pyramid with a rainbow going through it in a black background... weird; it was right next to what looked like a wall screaming... weirder. One of his CDs had a little light that kept on pulsing.
On the right wall Lean had only two posters, both black, one with just 4 faces & the other had the same four guys with long hair and mean faces just standing there being cool. I was intrigued... I took a CD out which was obviously missing it's booklet because it was stuck on the wall.
Metallica - Metallica ?
Who the hell names their album just as their band?
I popped in that CD and hit random, I had no preference, I've never liked to hear things in order. It went to song #4 . . . The Unforgiven.

Things I Notice - Part 2
1- Ereli and I know how to balace our food intake ... a healthy balance between all them fries and some Coke Zero ...

2- We went to Punta Cana and met Mr. Klaus.
Mr. Klaus has become a member of our group.
he's cool
3-I began toy shopping ... finding some overpriced vintage shit ...
yeah so those are like toys from Flinstones the movie and The Hunchback of Notre Dame
